Warranty Coverage

Reflecto Deco warrants its Naked Concrete Microcement products against cracking, peeling, and delamination caused by defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation.

If a covered defect occurs during the warranty period, Reflecto Deco will, at its sole discretion:

• Repair the affected area at no cost to the customer; and/or
• Replace the defective microcement material with an equivalent product at no cost.

The warranty applies only to the affected area and does not extend to the entire installation.

Warranty Conditions

This warranty is valid only if:

• The product is installed by Reflecto Deco or an authorized applicator.
• The substrate meets Reflecto Deco's installation requirements.
• The product has been used under normal residential or commercial conditions.
• The installed surface has been maintained according to Reflecto Deco's care and maintenance guidelines.
• Proof of purchase and installation date are provided.
• Reflecto Deco is given reasonable access to inspect the installation before any repair work is performed by others.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from:

• Structural movement, building settlement, or substrate movement.
• Cracks originating from the underlying concrete, screed, wall, or substrate.
• Moisture intrusion, rising damp, water leakage, hydrostatic pressure, or flooding.
• Earthquakes, natural disasters, fire, or other force majeure events.
• Impact damage, abuse, misuse, vandalism, or accidents.
• Improper installation or application by unauthorized parties.
• Inadequate substrate preparation or unsuitable substrate conditions.
• Alterations, drilling, cutting, sanding, polishing, or repairs performed by third parties.
• Damage caused by excessive point loads, heavy equipment, sharp objects, or improper use.
• Exposure to harsh chemicals, acids, solvents, or cleaning products not recommended by Reflecto Deco.
• Normal wear and tear, surface scratches, dents, stains, fading, gloss variation, texture variation, or natural aging.
• Hairline cracks or minor surface imperfections that do not affect the structural integrity or adhesion of the coating.

Natural Characteristics

Microcement is a handcrafted decorative finish. Minor variations in:

• Color
• Texture
• Shade
• Pattern
• Trowel marks
• Surface movement

are considered normal characteristics of the product and are not manufacturing defects.

Warranty Remedy

Reflecto Deco's responsibility under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the affected defective area.

This warranty does not cover:

• Removal or replacement of adjacent finishes or furnishings.
• Temporary relocation or business interruption costs.
• Transportation, accommodation, or other incidental expenses.
• Any indirect, consequential, or special damages.
• Color differences between repaired areas and the existing surface resulting from natural aging or weathering.

Warranty Claim Procedure

To submit a warranty claim, the customer must contact Reflecto Deco within the warranty period and provide:

• Proof of purchase.
• Installation date.
• Photographs of the affected area.
• A description of the issue.

Reflecto Deco reserves the right to inspect the installation before approving any warranty claim.

Limitation of Liability

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

Any repair or replacement performed under this warranty does not extend or renew the original warranty period.

• Reflecto Deco's maximum liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the affected Naked Concrete Microcement product.
